More advanced engineering design

In the traditional way, because of the use of corners, boxes, drainpipes, etc., and the use of welding joints instead of the pipes with higher hardness and strength due to the engineer designing of profile shape and the use of reinforcing edges and profile shapes especially SL and G form and the method of connecting bolts and using C-FLAT WASHER, etc. The traditional method has much lower stability and stiffness, much lower strength and much lower straight to hardness ratio. In the modern method, due to the use of analytical codes and software, design and standards such as ASTM, DIN, design and components are much more advanced.

Welding volume reduction by applying modular support

Among the various types of metal structures connections, reliance on bolt joints has always been a major factor in structural systems integration, and according to past earthquake reports; welding problems caused the most damages to metal structures during earthquake. Welding is  not only poor  qualified but also is a cumbersome and time taking process due to the limitations in electrical power supply and utilization of modern welding machines (with high penetration rates and standard) and lack of experienced teams and etc. Therefore all the above limitations and disadvantages are eliminated by minimizing the welding load. 

Corrosion reduction by applying hot galvanized method

Corrosion is the chemical or electrochemical reaction of metals in the environment. In hot galvanized method by zinc coating metal, during corrosion in the corrosive and humid environments the zinc is corroded and the steel is preserved. As a result, the life time of parts and assemblies increases. According to the following picture, the traditional surface-mounted supports are sensitive to corrosion and reduce mechanical resistance, especially due to friction loads over time. They are also sensitive to corrosion due to factors such as high relative humidity. 

Extend the useful life of the plant and equipment

By applying the insulated clamps, the direct contact between metal to metal in pipe and support structure connection, the vibration transmission and noise is prevented. Also in long piping lines the Link Slider system can be used instead of the traditional guide system which causes metal to metal and pipe friction and it reduces the friction coefficient from 0.3 to 0.08 and makes the tube move more smoothly on the modular support instead of the traditional guide system that cause metal to metal and pipe friction. And less lateral force is added to the support. These supports will also increase the building structure weight.

In addition to the financial and time cost of stainless steel implementation, corrosion can be eliminated by connections installment. Regarding to the following picture, applying the traditional supports for the pipes and installation equipment with different sized pipes, there are metal to metal contact in different parts. This will cause the above mentioned performance problems while increasing the reliability coefficient and side loads.

In the link method, due to the use of flange profiles, corners, clips, gaskets, mastics, etc., the mechanical strength, being well-formed and efficiency of the channel-flange system are increased and the air leakage of the channel reduces than the common angles for connecting the two air channels. In the link method, due to the use of hot galvanizing technology and the elimination and reduction of corrosion, the life time of the channel-flange system increases. SMACNA and DW 144 standards are used to standardize the channel leakage reduction.

  1. Proper channels connection

In the link method, by engineering system application; two channels are connected by flange and corner profiles to each other, not with the corners used in the traditional system, and therefore the connecting will performed much better. Especially that the leakage is minimized by using mastics and gaskets. In this regard, the link contains documentation of air leakage testing of the channel flange according to DW144 standard.
